Overview
NOIRÉ HOME is a home fragrance brand offering hand-poured candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays under the idea of “quiet luxury for modern living.” I built the storefront with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion, using restrained typography, generous whitespace, and slow, deliberate motion to reflect the calm, considered feel of the products. The site includes a shop organized by collection (Candles, Diffusers, Room Sprays), a cart with a currency selector, a brand story page, bulk order and stockist pages for trade customers, a contact page, and a journal signup for seasonal scent notes.
The problem
Home fragrance is a category where the shopping experience is part of the product. A cluttered, template-style store would undercut a brand built on calm and restraint. NOIRÉ HOME needed a storefront that felt as premium as its candles, while still handling the practical needs of an online shop: browsing by collection, a cart, international pricing, and routes for wholesale customers.
The solution
Built a minimal, editorial storefront on Next.js and Tailwind CSS, with Framer Motion providing soft scroll reveals and transitions that match the brand’s slow, atmospheric tone. Products are organized into three collection pages, with a cart and currency selector for international buyers. Dedicated pages for Our Story, Bulk Orders, Stockists, and Contact serve both retail and trade audiences, and a journal signup in the footer helps the brand build a returning audience.
Challenges
Making a store feel quiet without making it hard to use. The design needed enough whitespace and restraint to feel luxurious, while keeping navigation, collection browsing, and cart behavior clear. Tuning animation timing was part of this: motion had to feel gentle and intentional rather than flashy, so it supported the brand instead of competing with the product.
Results
A polished, on-brand storefront that presents NOIRÉ HOME as a premium home fragrance label and gives customers a smooth path from browsing to cart, with built-in routes for bulk buyers and stockists as the brand grows.
